Melissa Loorham
Melissa is the Development Manager at the Bendigo Regional Cancer Centre, Bendigo Health. Previously, she led the creation of the Regional Cancer Services Plan 2023-2028 as a Department of Health funded project and is now the managing the five-year implementation plan. Melissa has worked in the oncology field in cancer nursing roles, and as a change agent for over 25 years. With various leadership roles in health services, the Victorian Integrated Cancer Services and private consulting in both metropolitan and regional settings. Skilled in project management, redesign, strategic planning, resilience coaching and consumer engagement. She has recently completed the Master of Cancer Sciences and is the Victorian Comprehensive Cancer Centre (VCCC) regional liaison at Bendigo Health. Melissa is passionate about making a difference in rural and regional service redesign to close the gap on health outcome inequities and support a healthy cancer workforce face future challenge.
