Erica Patterson
Erica Patterson is a Senior Clinician Physiotherapist at The Alfred Hospital (Melbourne), working across inpatient and outpatient haematology and oncology services. She is passionate about prehabilitation, exercise and optimising function across the cancer care continuum, and advancing supportive care within cancer services. Erica led the pilot, implementation and expansion of the MDT stem cell transplant prehab and rehab service, embedding exercise, nutrition and psychosocial care into routine practice. She has also contributed to the establishment of Integrative Oncology Physiotherapy and Outpatient Cancer Allied Health services. Currently, she leads the Fit4CAR-T Tele-Prehab Trial and is completing a Master of Public Health at the University of Sydney. Her interests include equitable access to supportive care and overcoming geographical, care-centralisation and allied health resourcing barriers.
