Karen Elliott
Karen Elliott has been a Registered Music Therapist for almost 30 years and is currently Senior Music Therapist at the Queensland Children’s Hospital, Brisbane. Karen established the inaugural music
therapy program at The Children’s Hospital at Westmead in 1998 and has specialised in paediatrics throughout her career. Over the past 20 years Karen has worked for Children’s Health, Queensland; holding clinical caseloads in oncology, rehabilitation, burns and PICU, developing resources, participating in research and providing clinical education. Karen sings with the QPAC Chamber Choir and is a published composer, having had several choirs purchase and perform her songs.
